The song "Pompeii" by Bastille is about the ancient Roman city of Pompeii, which was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. The lyrics explore themes of loss, regret, and the passage of time, as the singer reflects on the ruins of the city and the people who once lived there. The chorus, "But if you close your eyes, does it almost feel like nothing changed at all?" suggests a sense of longing for the past and a desire to escape the present. **

Sand can be used as a substrate in a tropical terrarium, but it has some drawbacks. While it can create a natural and aesthetically pleasing environment, it can also be difficult to maintain and can lead to impaction in some reptiles if ingested. Additionally, sand does not hold moisture well, which can make it challenging to maintain the proper humidity levels in the terrarium. Therefore, it is important to carefully consider the specific needs of the tropical species and their natural habitat before deciding whether to use sand as a substrate. **
