To catch a shiny Giratina in Pokémon games, you will need to encounter it in the Distortion World or in Raid Battles in Pokémon Go. Shiny Pokémon have a very low encounter rate, so it may take multiple encounters before you find a shiny Giratina. In the main series games, you can increase your chances of encountering a shiny Giratina by using the Masuda Method (breeding two Pokémon from different language games) or by using the Shiny Charm item. In Pokémon Go, participating in Raid Battles during special events or Community Days may also increase your chances of encountering a shiny Giratina. Good luck! **

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Giratina does not transform because the game is set in the past, long before the events of the main series games where Giratina is known to transform between its Altered Forme and Origin Forme. The game takes place in a time when Giratina has not yet been affected by the Distortion World or the Griseous Orb, which are key factors in its ability to change forms. Therefore, Giratina remains in its Altered Forme throughout the game. **

To catch Giratina in Pokémon Diamond, you first need to have the National Dex and have defeated the Elite Four. Next, you must have the Adamant, Lustrous, and Griseous Orbs in your inventory. Then, head to the Turnback Cave located in the Sendoff Spring area of the Distortion World. Make sure to save before attempting to catch Giratina, as it is a powerful Legendary Pokémon that may require multiple attempts to capture. **

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Giratina does not go into its altered form because the game is set in the past, long before the events of the main Pokémon series. Giratina's altered form is a result of its exposure to the Distortion World and the influence of the Griseous Orb, which are not present in the game's historical setting. Therefore, Giratina remains in its original form in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. **
